Portraits in Guadalupe mountains national park

This year we decided to take our annual Christmas Break vacation in the Guadalupe Mountains! We loaded down our handy Jeep Cherokee, which we convert into a camper in the winter months. Car camping in 40 degrees or less seems to be the most comfortable without needing a fan or turning on the A/C.

Our first day in the mountains, we found some of the best photo spots in the area and the sunset was absolutely stunning! On our second day, we hiked all the way up through the Devil's Hall. The view of the canyons were well worth the hike! Next time we visit, we plan on hiking to the Guadalupe Mountains Peak Trail. Here's to many more adventures!
